[:en]Last January 12th, Nicolás Medina and Vicente Villanueva got their Master Degrees in Astrophysics at Universidad de Valparaíso. “Variable stars in bright rimmed clouds 87, 88 y 89” was the name of Nicolás Medina’s thesis, who worked in it with his thesis advisor, MAS Associate Researcher, Jordanka Borissova.
For its part, Vicente Villanueva defended his thesis “Parallaxes with the Vista Variables in Vía Láctea Survey (VVV)” with thesis advisor and MAS Adjunct Researcher, Radostín Kurtev.

“Variable stars in bright rimmed clouds 87, 88 y 89” es el nombre de la tesis de Nicolás Medina, quien tuvo como profesor guía a la investigadora asociada del MAS Jordanka Borissova. Por su parte, Vicente Villanueva, guiado por Radostín Kurtev, Investigador Adjunto el instituto, defendió la tesis “Parallaxes with the Vista Variables in Vía Láctea Survey (VVV)”.
