In spite of being similar to Earth in size and mass, its atmosphere, almost entirely of carbon dioxide (CO2), it is very dense, producing a greenhouse effect so extreme that it can even melt lead. For a long time, it was thought that under those thick clouds we would find a tropical paradise, today, thanks to radio wave observations and the missions that have landed on its surface, we know that under those clouds is more like hell.

Luna. A pesar de tener un tamaño y una masa similar a la Tierra, su atmósfera, formada casi en su totalidad por dióxido de carbono (CO2), es muy densa lo que produce un efecto invernadero tan extremo que incluso podría derretir el plomo. Por mucho tiempo se pensó que bajo esas espesas nubes se encontraría un paraíso tropical. Hoy, gracias a la observación en ondas de radio y a las sondas que han llegado hasta su superficie, sabemos que lo que hay en Venus debajo de esas nubes es más bien parecido al infierno.
